So this week in the Zafkataverse, many things were accomplished, even if it may not seem so to the casual observer (maybe if they weren't so casual, they'd be more insightful).
First, the co-founders of ZAFKATAPT gave a thrilling and informative lecture to the Association of Computing Machinery on our history, games, and how to be a game developer. People laughed, people cried, although we're not really sure why.
Second, our upcoming project got a lot of stuff added to it, even if it is under-the-hood stuff that the player will probably never notice in their Zafkataptastic experience. It's a little sad that such code and functions will never get the appreciation they deserve, but it's ok lower level functionality. We still love you. Not like that networking code. What a jerk.
Anyways, I'm going to wrap things up. I don't want to bore you with such details as flixels and flans and crazy bacchanalian revels. That's just everyday stuff. See you next week.
Well, I won't be seeing you personally, but you'll be seeing these words. Well not these words exactly, but you know, new words that are relevent to next week's work. Ok, so the words I will be using are not new like just-coined-and-accepted new, like "Zafkataverse", they'll probably be words that have existed in the english language for some time.
And that's why ZAFKATAPT is the most interesting game design collective in the world
